REVIEW: Harman's Love Story 2050
Harman Baweja's performance
Let's admit it, Harman Baweja makes a sincere debut. He is spot on with his dancing and fighting and manages to keep you glued to the screen... till he opens his mouth. The actor needs to work on his dialogue delivery as his voice tends to go squeaky at times.
Baweja is surprisingly good in the emotional scenes but tends to irritatingly screech when it comes to comedy. But what's with that strange American accent each time he breaks into an English monologue?
The other thing he definitely needs to do is to sack his costume designer for making those ill-fitting jackets and t-Shirts, which glitter. Given that the film has been in the making for nearly three years, Baweja's look is inconsistent and he appears quite different from his current real self.
Two Priyanka Chopras, one lacklustre performance
There are two Priyanka Chopras but both are made to behave like bimbettes. There is little difference in the performances. The costumes though get ghastlier as the film progresses. And thanks to the mediocre screenplay and storyline, there is little scope for the Harman-Priyanka chemistry to develop.
Among the rest of the cast, Boman Irani and Archana Puran Singh actually manage to raise a few laughs. But the film could have done without Harman's irritating friends and those two cranky kids. Anu Malik's music is easy on the ears but lacks that one chartbuster every debutant needs. Still Sach Kehna and Milo are worth watching for their choreography.
Harman apes Hrithik to impress Priyanka
Verdict: Love Story 2050 just doesn't justify the hype surrounding it. Your heart goes out for Harman Baweja who seems to be a victim of his father's bizarre experiment – much like the film's time machine. Love Story 2050 suffers big time on account of its length. At over three hours, the movie drags on till you want to get yourself a time machine and travel to the end of the film.

Well i generally tend to agree with rajeev. He says what
others can't. If you don't like his reviews then don't watch
his reviews...Simple.Hindi movies are a big letdown anyways,
so if he puts down rubbish films then don't get angry or
embarassed....Start watching better films, which in india is
hard unless you watch indie films, classics or english
movies.
Harman rocks...Anyways story ws nt gud bt ok...Harman really

The reviews are baised for both movie released this friday.
Well, i do agree with rajeev that rakesh roshan is thumbs up
for sci-fri and he does justise to the characters. Btw
harman looks awful in his customes...
Rajeev masand ki jai....
he got aamir and imraan to manipulate him on his own
show..Asking them inane questions and then being suitably
impressed with aamir.Come on rajeev, has srk left u out of
his camp or what.Do what u can do best......Play up to
shahrukh and praise only his films...Even if its an
insufferable foolish film like oso.
dont worry harman...I quite liked you and your movie. All
the best to you.
If it is rajeev masand's review, i am not going to believe
it.
